The Department of Health charges a $12 record search fee. To obtain expedited records, inquirers will pay a fee of $17 instead of $12. Payments for mailed vital records can be made either by money order or cashier's check while payments for vital records collected on-site can be made by credit/debit card or in cash bills no larger than $50. Records will be sent to requesters within 10 business days. Persons who request additional copies of vital records will be required to pay a fee of $3. Only persons who are named in vital records can file requests. Also eligible for vital records are family members or legally authorized persons. Applicants for vital records must provide valid photo IDs.
