Entering the full name of a subject will enable the inquirer to view the inmate's name, mugshot, age, race, sex, physical features, admit date and time, charges, arresting agency, bond type and court date. The Florence County Detention Center is run by the Florence County Sheriff's Office. The Detention Center is a multi-security facility responsible for both pre-trial detainees and convicted inmates, and is capable of holding up to 500 inmates.
Florence County inmate records can also be accessed by using the search portal of the South Carolina Department of Corrections. In addition to the Florence County Detention Center, the county is also home to the Palmer Pre-Release Center, a state-run correctional and rehabilitation facility. The Palmer Pre-Release Center houses male inmates who work in labor crews for Florence County, Darlington County and the Florence National Guard Armory.
